Appearance[]
Chao Tianxiang being an old lady has a full head of white hair combed very neatly. There are more than a few wrinkles on her face signifying her age but the skin color is rosy like a baby’s. She has a pair of eyes bright and shiny. She uses her 3 meter long Serpent Cane held in her right hand.
Personality[]
She is good natured, calm, calculating and fair. She is very confident and loves her granddaughter dearly.
History[]
She along with her husband Meng Shu started out as ordinary Spirit Masters and became powerful enough to be known as the Unrivaled Dragon Serpent.
Plot []
Star Dou Forest[]
She encounters Shrek Seven Devils and Zhao Wuji in the Star Dou Forest while hunting a Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent. She request the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent saying she and her granddaughter had been hunting it earlier even managing to cause injuries. Assuming that the Shrek Seven Devils are unable to absorb the spirit ring she requests it to be handed over. After seeing that Oscar is of level 30 she proposes a wager, with Meng Yiran battling against Oscar to determine the owner of the Spirit Beast. As Oscar is a Food System Spirit Master, Tang San accepts the wager on his behalf and defeats Meng Yiran. She then withdraws with her granddaughter to regroup with her husband to find another spirit beast while holding a slight grudge.
She along with her husband and granddaughter happen upon Tang San again when he had killed the Man Faced Demon Spider. She watches as Tang San yet again defeats Meng Yiran in a knife throwing contest. They then take leave with Chao Tianxiang admiring the young Tang San.
Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament[]
Chao Tianxiang is present with her husband, Meng Shu at the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament accompanying their granddaughter.
When the envoy of Spirit Masters are attacked en route to Spirit City, Chao Tianxiang takes part in the battle. She holds back two Spirit King Spirit Masters who attacks the Shrek Academy students. However she is made to leave following the arrival of the Chrysanthemum Douluo.

Etymology[]
- Chao means "towards, dynasty, morning, court/imperial court/royal court, reign, assembly held by a sovereign, face, pilgrim/pilgrimage" (朝).
- Tianxiang means "day, sky, God, heavens, weather, nature, season, overhead" (天) (tian) and "incense, perfume/perfumed, spice/spiced, thus, fragrant, scented, sweet-smelting" (香) (xiang).
