Appearance
Gu Rong is an old man with a withered face. He was not robust or muscly but still had a very astonishing stature clearly exuding his power. His muscles and skin were both withered, his eye sockets were deep caves, and if seen late at night it would simply be like an immense cranium. On his scalp were only a few sparse wisps of white or grey hair.
Personality
Gu Rong being the Bone Douluo has an imposing personality. Among the Title Douluo he is considered the most secretive. He dotes on Ning Rongrong and cannot resist spoiling her, even allowing her to threaten him to make him do what she wants.
Plot
Gu Rong awaits with Ning Rongrong for the return of Ning Fengzhi and Chen Xin. He is amazed with Ning Rongrong's growth in Spirit Power over the short period of time.
He visits the Shrek Academy with Ning Fengzhi and Ning Rongrong and put a stop to the on-going battle between Tang San and Tai Tan. He then frowns upon Ning Fengzhi when he offers the 5 million deal for the construction of Hidden Weapons.
Differences in the Manhua
- He looks younger in the manhua than he does in his novel description, due to Title Douluo retaining their youthful appearance in the comics.
