The Holy Spirit Cult, also known as the Holy Ghost Church, is an organization formed of only Dark Spirit Masters. It is enigmatic and mysterious, also very powerful that has existed for an unknown number of years. More precisely, it is a sect that is involved in criminal and evil activities of all kinds. It regards the task of cultivating dark spirit masters as its responsibility. They enjoy killing, destroying, and seeking special energies capable of elevating themselves from their crimes.[1]
The Spirit Ice Douluo, Huo Yuhao, led his generation of the Shrek Seven Monsters, along with many other powerhouses, to destroy the Holy Spirit Cult. The cult was wiped out and no more trouble arose from them. They were assumed to be wiped out, but reappeared again in SL3. In SL3, they are a terrorist organization that mostly always remain in hiding, spread out across the three continents of Douluo, Star Luo, and Dou Ling. They kill in order to raise their cultivation by feeding on a person's negative emotions, blood, soul power, and etc.
With the help of the Federation and the Qiangu family from the Spirit Pagoda, they were able to smuggle two Godkiller-rank fixed soul ammunitions inside Shrek City and detonate them, destroying Shrek Academy and Tang Sect.
Later on, they allied themselves with the Abyssal Plane and opened a passage in the Extreme North causing a large scale world war to occur that lasted a few months. In the end, all the top level powers were killed in the war and the cult was once again destroyed into remnants.

The most powerful figure in the Holy Ghost Church is their Supreme Leader, Ye Xishui who is also the Sun Moon Empire’s Death God Douluo. Apart from her, they also have their sect leader and vice-sect leader. They are married. The sect leader is called Zhongli Wu, and vice-sect leader is called Feng Ling. They also have eight honorary elders below them, who are all Titled Douluos.
The evil soul masters in the Holy Ghost Church Worship Hall are the strongest. The Hallmaster of the Worship Hall, who is also the Chief of the Worship Hall, is the Darkness Holy Dragon and Dragon Emperor Douluo, Long Xiaoyao. He has eleven others in the Worship Hall under him. They are all Titled Douluo, and five of them are even Transcendent Douluo. Including the Chief, there are twelve of them. Their statuses are very high in the church. Only the Supreme Leader can command them. Even the sect leader can’t do so. The Worshipped are hired by the church. They aren’t all evil soul masters. The eight elders have lineages related to the church. That’s why they’re different. Furthermore, those that are evil soul masters in the Worship Hall are all very talented. Their martial souls are very strong.

While being the top powerhouse and a survivor of the Qiangu clan, Qiangu Qingfeng secretly returned to the Douluo Federation's Spirit Pagoda as a new "person" and gradually climbed its ranks. Later, Qingfeng worried about his lifespan eventually running out and out of fear of death, regathered and studied the Holy Spirit Cult texts, but wiped out the remnants. While keeping his morals and virtue, Qiangu Qingfeng self-completed his amateur path to improving himself and attaining longer life, as well as helping future Evil Spirit Masters adapt and start as Good path as members of society. The Holy Spirit Cult continued to exist in name, but reformed under Qingfeng into the Douluo Federation's top and virtuous hidden hero organization for humanity's development.
Trivia[]
- In order to activate two Godkillers to destroy the Shrek Academy, the Holy Spirit Cult had sacrificed nearly twenty Soul Douluo-ranked evil soul masters, and hundreds of middle-ranked evil soul masters. A total of eight Title Douluos were killed.[2] The Ghost Sovereign was gravely injured during the attack.[3]
