Huang Daoqi is the city lord of Fenglong City of the Heavenly Dragon Planet.
Appearance[]
He is a middle-aged man, tall and looks similar to his son Huang Yuenlong, and can also transform into human form like his children and other upper dragons. He wears a golden robe, a belt and waistband, and his short hair stands upright, and his whole body seems to emit a faint golden halo.
Plot[]
Like Huang Yuenlong, he misunderstood Bai Xiuxiu as a wild dragon belonging to upper dragon family and recognized her as goddaughter due to her rare dual attributes of ice and darkness. [1]
He was responsible for providing assistance to both Lan Xuanyu (Blue) and Huang Xiuxiu's cultivation. With his wealth, he gifted them with Divine Dragon Armors and Spears. [2]
Etymology[]
- Huang means "emperor, sovereign" (皇).
- Daoqi means "dodge" (道奇).
- It can also mean "road, path, way, Taoism/Taoist, doctrine, circuit, method, principium/principle, say, talk, speak, suppose, think" (道) (dao) and "odd, strange, rare, wonder, surprise, odd number" (奇) (qi) separately.
