The Xuanwu (Black/Mysterious Warrior) is an awakened form of the Mystic Deep Turtle. Xuanwu is a divine beast formed by a combination of a tortoise and a snake that possesses both water and earth elements.
There was a legend in Xu Sanshi’s family, that if anyone from his family could fuse with a spirit ring from a Golden Tortoise, it could possibly transform the spirit of the entire family to a Divine Beast Xuanwu Shield.
After Xu Sanshi contracted with a 100,000 years Golden Tortoise as his spirit soul, his Xuanwu spirit had been completely awakened and evolved into Golden Xuanwu.
