Zhang Zhenpeng is a Soul Emperor and the headmaster of Sealand Academy.
Appearance[]
Zhenpeng was slender with bronzed skin and small, sharp eyes.[1] He has long gray hair in the Manhua.

Skysea Alliance Tournament[]
Zhang Zhenpeng came to the Skysea Alliance Tournament with his students from Sealand Academy. He met with his friend, Long Huantian, the schoolmaster of the Skysea Academy at the tournament within box one. He wanted to ask Huantian for three quotas for his students to take the Shrek Academy entrance exam. Huantian believed Zhenpeng wanted three normal quotas, but he corrected him and said he wanted three inner court quotas.[2] Huantian was shocked and reluctant, but Zhenpeng convinced him to watch his students' match against class zero from Eastsea Academy before deciding.
As the two teams entered the arena, he introduced his team to Huantian. He even gave a high evaluation of class zero, which Huantian was skeptical of. The two watched as the match begin.
Match End[]
Zhenpeng was confident that his team would win the championship, but he was amazed by class zero's ability. He originally thought Tang Wulin was the strongest, but it turned out to be Gu Yue.[3] When the Zhou sisters, Hanyou and Tian'er were about to use their martial soul fusion skill, he immediately rushed out of the box with Huantian to stop them, but was too late. Tang Wulin was severely injured before Gu Yue transported them outside the arena. She started to use her own lifeforce to heal him, wrapping them in a cocoon of light.
Zhang Zhenpeng was second to arrive on the scene when the skill was finished. He reprimand them for using their fusion skill when they couldn't control it. Feeling jittery, he was confronted by an furious Wu Zhankong, who targeted him instead of the twins, since they were children and it is the teacher's fault for not teaching them correctly. He then questioned Wu Zhangkong in a belittling manner, causing him to immediately attack him. He was horrified, the moment he saw Wu Zhangkong's soul rings. Unable to explain himself under Wu Zhangkong's pressure, he summoned his spirit in defense. He raised his hands to the sky and called forth a ball of lightning and radiant light that struck the wheel-array of swords spinning toward him.[4]
Confrontation
He understood the difference in power between them after their first clash. He was not able to obstruct the swords with his attack as they reach him in a blink of an eye. He unleashed his fifth soul skill. At the same time, Long Huantian arrived at his side and helped him block the attack. In the aftermath, they retreated ten steps, with blood painting Zhenpeng's mouth and Long Huantian pale.[5]
Injured
Sky Ice Wu Zhangkong[]
All of a sudden, giant figures swooped down from the sky.[5] A purple mecha, four yellow mechas, and fifteen white mechas appeared. They aimed their guns at Wu Zhangkong and surrounded him. Wu Zhangkong unleashed his battle armor, causing the mecha pilots to lower their guns, not daring to confront him. Zhang Zhenpeng paled in front of Wu Zhangkong. Everyone stood there in shock as Wu Zhangkong was able to attack until Shen Yi stopped him.[5] In the process, Wu Zhangkong broke through to Soul Sage.[6] Seeing that that the cocoon of light was disappearing, they went down to examine them. When they left the arena with Wulin and Gu Yue, nobody stopped them.
